Group Reservations

At Frida you can host your next event in a fun atmosphere with great food, drinks and service!

We work with you to build your perfect event with delicious food, fun beverages and an incomparable ambiance in the best location in Downtown St. Augustine.

Please look here for some details we send to all potential Large Groups (parties of 25 or more) and information to get you started in planning your event and reserving us as your next venue!

Please read through for all information here is important in the reservation process!  After you’ve familiarized yourself with the information and our establishment please send us an email.  Also find at the bottom of this page the email form to fill out.  We thank you in advance for considering us as your next venue.

•  For special reservations we provide a specific menu, with a set price per person in your party that includes the entrée option, soft beverage, tip and tax.  Additionally it will also include appetizer, dessert and/or beverage from the bar if you requested such options.  We provide you with a price during the process of making the reservation which you will agree upon before the reservation is finalized.

•  There is an additional fee for private reservations, depending on date, time and number of guests.  Please advice us when you contact us that you are interested in knowing your private room fee.

•  We request a deposit.  This can be mailed with plenty of anticipation to:

-This deposit will be discussed with you during the reservation process.
-It is refundable with 48 hours advance notice.
-You can mail a check (reservation is not finalized until funds clear the bank).
-You can also fill out our deposit form emailed to you to finalize your reservation after all details have been worked out.

•  At the restaurant we accept only credit cards and cash.  No checks are accepted.

•  Bar Beverages:
Your guests can open their own tab with the bar (CASH BAR)  if they desire to order an additional beverage and they must take care of their bar bill separately from the host’s bill.

More on Bar Beverages Options:
-You can limit the number and/or type of beverages ordered per guest.
-You can set a limit dollar amount to allocate to the bar beverages you offer your guests.
-Or if you are not offering bar beverages to your guests you can have Cash Bar only (Each guest is responsible for opening and honoring their bar beverages ordered.  Our waiters will inform them of this option.)

This part of your reservation needs to be discussed in greater detail during the process due to the number of options available.

•  Taxes & Service Charge.
Taxes are 6%  (Added to your price per person.)  Service charges are added to your total per person price.  If you have a separate plan for any bar beverages or any other side items ordered during your reservation you will be added a service charge for large parties to those additional items.

•  In order to better serve you we also require you to have a count of the entrées that will be ordered.  This ensures we provide you with the best service possible.  The entree count will take place after a specific menu for your reservation has been set and finalized.  Unless you pick our buffet option, in which case only the total number of guests is needed.

•  Unfortunately we can not pre-arrange special reservations of large groups on certain specific dates throughout the year.  These dates include but are not limited to: 5 de Mayo (May 5), 4th of July (and that weekend),  Labor Day (and weekend), Memorial Day (and weekend), the week of Thanksgiving and the weeks of Christmas and New Years.
